The Boston Home

Residents of this nursing facility suffer from neurological disorders, and are wheelchair-bound. Elements such as central indirect lighting, flooring patterns with borders, and contrasting wall protection promote easy negotiation throughout the building.  Durable and colorful finishes brighten up the more mundane chores of nursing home living.  The lobby features the logo painting, "Mandala", by Janis Luedke, which represents the wheel of the wheelchair and symbolizes the integration of the The Boston Home with the greater community.
